MEET THE TEAM
When we met in 2017, we immediately bonded over many shared interests. We love to bounce ideas off each other and challenge one another creatively. Our personalities and creative styles blend so seamlessly, so it just made sense when we started working together in 2019. We relocated to the Kansas City area in 2020 and fully invested ourselves into our business. We love every second of being able to live out our passion, and are so thankful for every story we’ve been able to tell.
In our free time, we love traveling and spending time in nature, reading, playing instruments, live music, visiting family, and furthering our education in our craft.
We also love creating story based visuals and photoshoots so check out our creative section here to see what we get up to outside of weddings!

My introduction to filming weddings was unexpected. I had no idea that my career path would shift so drastically. What started as a childhood passion documenting my life, turned into my dream career that I never predicted would become my reality. I have always been a deeply sentimental and nostalgic person. I always gravitated towards creating art, whether that was drawing, playing guitar, piano, or drums.
I got my first camera in 2014 and started taking pictures and videos of family vacations and adventures with friends. I wanted to document everything so I could relive my most treasured moments over and over again. In college, I started diving into photoshoots. Families, couples, and senior photos are what I focused on. When I started a new job in 2018, I had a friend ask me to film her wedding.
I had never thought about filming weddings before, but I quickly started to learn everything I could about it. I started having more people reach out and became more and more passionate about it. I always knew I had a love for filming and this was the push I needed to delve deeper into my passion. As I became more invested, I knew this is what I wanted to do for the rest of my life.

When I was young, I became drawn to every creative outlet I was exposed to. My first love was for music. I spent so much of my childhood in choir, taking private lessons, and performing anywhere I could. Balancing music and playing tennis and softball is something I maintained throughout my adolescence. In high school, I fell in love with writing and storytelling. I always had a notebook with me everywhere I went to write down all the thoughts inside my head.
After high school, I was torn between going to medical school and pursuing a career in the arts. I decided to trust my instincts and in 2016 I moved to Los Angeles and dove into acting and creative writing classes. I worked on short films and eventually ventured into learning production and filmmaking. I loved every part of the creative process and was drawn to all the moving parts that make a project come to life.
When I moved back to Kansas, Emily and I decided to start working together. Weddings quickly became all consuming for me in the best way. I love every part of the process. From getting to know each couple, to filming and editing the intricacies of each love story, I fall more in love with my job every day.
